Automatic Spill Barriers
Contain Spills and Sprinkler Releases where they occur. DENIOS' unique Spill Barrier automatically closes off any doorway or opening at the first sign of flowing liquids - retaining spills and sprinkler releases inside the immediate storage or process area.
|
Federal Regulations along with Local Jurisdictions require that sprinkler water in combination with regulated or hazardous materials also be prevented from being released into the environment via sewers, streams, or ground contamination. When a release occurs, fines and clean-up costs can be staggering.
Until recently, the only alternatives were extensive containment trenches and collecting ponds, or self-containment areas with large ramps and dikes at each door or entryway. Ramps and dikes create material handling and other challenges.
We have the answer! The automatic Spill Barrier - shown below in a normal, open position - allows free, unobstructed movement in and out of the contained area or room.

Activated by a flow of liquids, barrier - shown below in a closed position - prevents liquids from flowing beyond the contained area or room.
