Consultation on Temperature Controlled Enclosures
for Process Chemicals

Tightly controlled manufacturing and processing parameters common to today’s higher technology operations demand that chemicals used in these operations be applied in a narrow range of temperature or viscosity. Likewise, many chemicals used in critical processes have temperature sensitivities that affect their shelf life. In order to meet the growing demand for temperature-controlled storage, DENIOS has developed pre-engineered families of enclosures including lockers, cabinets, buildings and rooms for both heating and cooling of chemicals. Compliant systems are available for either in- or outdoor placement.

Known and trusted throughout industry for its high quality, broad line of storage systems for regulated and/or hazardous chemicals, DENIOS combines its expertise in the fabrication of fire and explosion rated enclosures with expertly selected heating and cooling systems and controls to guarantee their customers an efficient and effective turn-key enclosure.

DENIOS offers customers no obligation consultation on their specific applications. Backed by a technical staff of professional engineers experienced in chemical equipment installations, the technical sales group is able to respond quickly and competently. This direct contact with the manufacturer assures timely and accurate project management from initial equipment specification and quotation thorough to fabrication, delivery and installation.

DENIOS Thermal Technology systems cover a broad range of applications. From simple heating for freeze protection, temperature normalization or viscosity reduction to higher temperatures for processing requirements, enclosures are provided with either electric or steam heating correctly sized for the job. Cooling capabilities include explosion-proof air conditioning as well as lower temperature chiller systems available with intrinsically safe components assuring conformance to applicable codes and regulations. Applications range from shelf life extension of resins and adhesives to safe storage of heat sensitive materials such as organic peroxides. Storage capacities range from small cabinets for carboys to large cabinets capable of storing 48 Drums or 12 IBC’s.

In addition to storage cabinets, DENIOS manufactures pre-engineered rooms and buildings. These structures provide ample floor and headroom for equipment such as pumps and mixers needed for processing. Enclosures not only provide temperature control, but add separation of hazardous and irritating operations/materials from the surrounding facility. A complete array of features such as spill containment, climate control, lighting, ventilation, fire rating, explosion relief, and automatic fire suppression may be included.
